New Generators
Progress Group can supply, install and commission the full range of FG Wilson, Perkins powered diesel generating sets. Our standard stockholding includes machines with power outputs from 10 kVA – 635 kVA; optional accessories can be fitted and ancillaries supplied. Generators within this range are available for immediate inspection and delivery and are given a thorough inspection prior to dispatch.
Generators from 10 kVA up to 2200 kVA can be ordered as standard or custom designed according to your individual specification. For high electrical load applications, multiple generator sets may be synchronised together to achieve an output rating of up to 3300 kVA.
All our generating sets are suitable for both permanent and temporary applications and available in open format, designed for use in a plant room, or within self-contained acoustic enclosures designed for use outdoors and to reduce sound levels to comply with the latest European Community Noise Directive 2000/14/EC.
All our new generating sets are designed and manufactured to ISO accredited standards and in accordance with the latest technology, always ensuring quality, safety and reliability.

Pre-owned Generators
Our pre-owned stock includes a variety of high quality makes including Perkins, Lister, Cummins, Duetz and Volvo. The pre-owned range generally includes power outputs from 10 kVA - 1400 kVA and available in an open arrangement or within self-contained acoustic enclosures.
Export
With wide experience in supplying generating sets for both continuous and standby applications in over 20 countries, our dedicated export sales team has the ability to meet power needs around the world.
We are happy to deal with export enquiries from a single generator to full container shipments. Offering both sea freight and air freight services, we can handle all delivery requirements for our clients and arrange everything from letters of credit and pre-shipment inspections and issuing Bills of Lading.
With our own loading facilities we are able to load all generating sets at our premises.
Quotations
Using the wealth of technical data and drawings we have available, our experienced sales team is able to provide detailed technical specifications to customers' most exacting requirements.
Our close ties with FG Wilson and familiarity with the products, ensures that most questions can be answered and most quotations can be produced within the hour.
Transport
We have our own fleet of delivery vehicles, each complete with its own rear-mounted hiab crane. When this is coupled to the rapid availability of our stock, we can guarantee delivery of generators to site in the shortest possible time, consequently minimizing our customers' waiting time.
Ancillaries
As part of the total package we offer to our clients, we are able to supply a full range of additional equipment catering for all our customers' generating needs. We hold a large range of fully bunded fuel tanks that can be tailor-made to meet our clients' requirements.
We also have a large stock of FG Wilson load transfer panels in various sizes up to 1250 amps, available for immediate dispatch.
Technical Support
With many years experience in the supply and support of diesel generating sets, our technical support team is ideally placed to offer all levels of technical assistance. Our workshop and mobile technicians are able to quickly resolve most technical queries, while service contract holders enjoy the benefit of our 24 hour manned helpline.
On our site in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire we have a 40,000 sq ft workshop facility that allows customers to view their generator undergoing a full load test.
Purchasing
We also purchase good quality, ex-standby generators. We are especially interested in up to date models and low usage machines. If appropriate, we will consider part-exchange and/or sale with buy back.
