We are pleased to announce that on the 12th January 2012, Progress Group, specialists in critical power solutions acquired TM Newburn Group.
TM Newburn are based in Bradford and have been suppliers of diesel generators for over 20 years and specialise in the supply of temporary power for the events sector and operates a fleet of over 300 generators.
On the 1st June 2010 North Middlesex £123 million new hospital building opened to patients.
Progress Group is proud to have been involved with the project and pleased the installation was completed on time despite site difficulties and numerous changes of plan.
Three 1MW generators were installed onsite with an advanced fast reaction control system to ensure a speedy restoration of power supply to the hospital.
Progress Group have recently supplied and installed two 900kVA generators to act as backup supply to a new museum being built in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Emirate. The generators have been installed into an ultra quiet plant room. Installation was completed earlier this year.
Progress Group has now completed its installation at National Grid’s operations HQ. The installation compromised of two 2.2MVA containerised generators, together with comprehensive fuel storage and transfer.
