With 25 years service as an Electrical Engineer at Progress Group, Adrian has seen the company evolve and expand to its current status. Having taken on a variety of roles and responsibilities, his experience includes managing both UK and overseas projects and delivering training programmes to clients in Africa on installed equipment. Adrian became Managing Director in 2002 and ensures the company has the necessary resources for future expansion and to meet all present and future challenges and goals.
With 30 years experience within the diesel and gas fuelled generator industry, Phil spent 12 years as a marine engineer in the Merchant Navy. His current role in the Generator Sales department, involves liaising with clients and consultants to determine the best possible engineering solution that combines ingenuity of design with best practice and sensible economy to meet emergency power requirements.
Mark’s role in the Generator Sales department involves generating sales and devising strategies that enable the company to fulfil UK and export orders. Having secured the company’s largest ever single export order, he is responsible for servicing some of the company’s key accounts and negotiating volume contracts with export clients. When not involved in selling generators, Mark is responsible for the acquisition of company vehicles and the health and safety of employees at head office.
As head of the Temporary Electrics department, Mick is responsible for managing such projects from concept to completion, liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis and above all, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Based on a commitment to improve standards of service in all areas, Mick has overseen the department’s continued growth in both size and turnover over the past 10 years. The intention is to further promote efficiencies in all aspects of his department’s activities and expand further still.
Carole has 24 years accounting experience, coming from the distribution & storage and the construction industry she has been with Progress Group now for 7 years. During her time at Progress, Carole has successfully implemented a number of critical administrative and IT systems, which have served to ensure the effective day to day running of both the accounts department and the business as a whole.
As national hire Director, Kerry is based at our Hitchin branch and is responsible for ensuring the effective day to day running of the depot including the implementation of health and safety procedures. His particular area of expertise is in developing client relationships, co-ordinating service engineers and managing staff. During his 10 years of service with Progress Group, Kerry has continued to increase the company’s client base and has developed his department into the success that it is today.
