Beating the Recession by Generating Powerful New Sales.

Progress Group is fighting the current economic situation and is proud to have been awarded yet another challenging and exciting power generation project.

An order has been placed by the Swiss company Von Roll Inova for the installation of two power generating sets for the UK’s largest energy-from-waste plant in London. The plant when fully commissioned will process 585,000 tonnes of municipal and commercial waste per year generating 72MW of electricity.

The company fought off major competition from both the UK and overseas securing the order to supply, install and maintain the two 1700kVA bespoke generators into the new energy-from-waste plant.  Installation will start in October with commissioning during January and February 2010.
